Bring the song’s breakup story to the screen.
Country artist Selena Brills pursued the music video after first going viral on TikTok. Little Black Jeans follows a breakup with a controlling boyfriend, using a narrative introduction and scenes across several Arizona locations to tell the story.
Voyage handled the full production, including concept development, planning, casting, filming, drone coverage, and editing. The production took place over three filming days, each approximately four hours long.
A desert argument sets the story in motion.
The video opens with an approximately 30-second narrative scene in the Arizona desert. Selena and her boyfriend argue in a car, establishing the relationship at the center of the song. Voyage recorded the dialogue on location for the introduction.
The production combined cinematic shots, extensive props, and models cast by Voyage. A three-person video crew and a drone operator captured the scenes across the bar, home, park, and desert locations.
