J Forte is a music duo that performs cover songs at local venues, restaurants, and events. They wanted a video featuring a selection of those songs to promote their performance services and share with venues considering them for bookings.
Voyage handled the full production, including planning, filming, and editing. The shoot took place over one day, with approximately five hours on site and a crew consisting of a director, a camera operator, and a drone operator.
Cover songs against a Scottsdale sunset.
The duo performed on a hotel rooftop in downtown Scottsdale, with Camelback Mountain in the background. The sunset setting provided the backdrop for a highlight reel built around their cover-song performances.
Voyage captured moving gimbal shots and used a lens filter to create blue streaks and lens flares in camera as the sun set. These visual choices gave the performance footage a consistent look across the reel.
