Introduce the story behind Money and Power.
HMK’s Money and Power centers on success, money, and power. The music video introduces those themes through a narrative scene before moving into the song, with filming across a Chandler neighborhood, Voyage’s Tempe studio, and a mountain setting near Cave Creek.
Voyage handled the full production, including concept development, planning, filming, lighting, dialogue recording, and editing. Filmed in 2022, the project took place over three days, with approximately three hours of filming per shoot.

The introduction shows children walking up to a snow cone stand where HMK is selling snow cones. They ask what money and power are, and he tells them they will find out. The exchange leads into the song’s themes of success, money, and power.
Voyage recorded the dialogue on location in a Chandler neighborhood. The rest of the production used creative lighting, the Tempe cyc wall studio, and a mountain setting near Cave Creek to give the music video a range of looks.

Concept & Planning
Voyage developed and planned the production, including the narrative introduction and filming across the neighborhood, studio, and mountain locations.
Direction, Cameras & Lighting
The three-person crew included a director, a tripod camera operator, and a gimbal camera operator. Voyage handled the lighting and recorded dialogue on site for the introduction.
Editing & Delivery
Voyage edited the introduction and music video into one horizontal film, approximately three and a half minutes long, intended for YouTube, Vimeo, and social media.
