Capture the retreat and the people who made it meaningful.
One Mother Retreat brought more than 100 attendees from across the country to Agave in Sedona, Arizona, for a March gathering centered on spiritual exploration and connection. Organized by Sergei and Maria, it was one of the largest retreats they had hosted.
Voyage’s role was to document what they had created and give the organizers photo and video content for future retreat marketing. The coverage needed to convey the emotion and atmosphere of the gathering while preserving the speaking sessions, meditations, and group activities.
Sessions, shared experiences, and personal reflections.
The production combined cinematic retreat footage and photography with event-style coverage of the full speaking sessions, meditations, and group activities. Sedona’s setting and the venue formed part of the story alongside the people taking part.
Attendee testimonials added a personal perspective. The conversations explored why people chose to attend, how they were feeling about the retreat, and where they were in their spiritual journeys.
Multiple camera angles with a quiet presence.
A spiritual retreat calls for care in how a crew moves through the room. Voyage ran multiple camera angles at the same time while keeping its presence low key, allowing attendees to stay focused on the sessions, meditations, and group experiences.
Two videographers, one director, and one photographer covered the retreat together. This gave the team room to record the speaking sessions and group activities while also capturing the moments and photographs that would help tell the retreat’s story.
From venue setup to final delivery.
