A product campaign built around everyday distractions, filmed over three days at three locations in Tempe, Arizona.
AlertGuard is a proximity-alert device designed to sound an audible alarm when paired items move beyond a set distance. The campaign introduced the product through situations where a distraction could lead someone to leave a belonging or a child behind.
Voyage worked directly with the product’s creator to turn those use cases into a series of promotional videos for multiple marketing channels. The focus was on showing the device in context, with a story that made its intended use easy to understand.
At Tempe Town Lake, a woman distracted by a phone call leaves her bag behind. One version of the scene shows a passerby taking it. In the AlertGuard scenario, an alarm prompts her to return for the bag.
A staged car sequence follows a busy mother on the phone and illustrates the danger of forgetting a child in a vehicle during an Arizona summer. The contrasting AlertGuard scene shows the alarm reminding her to return to the car.
An unboxing scene filmed at a Tempe home introduces the product itself, connecting the story-driven demonstrations with a closer look at the device.
Collaboration with the product’s creator, concept development, shoot coordination, talent hiring, and arranging filming permission for Tempe Town Lake.
